LETTERPRESS WEDDING CARDS ON HANDMADE PAPER
This Wedding Card is especially designed for couples who love a bit of romance. The elegant design features a chic handwritten font. An invitation that goes well with a classic wedding.
All cards in my Wedding Card collection and some of the Envelopes are printed on the finest handmade paper (350g) from Austria. For the Menu Cards I use transparent, high-quality paper from Germany. The modern Envelopes (135g) are made in England.
For each Wedding Card you can choose from four different paper colors. The envelopes are also available in a variety of colors, which are always shown in the last photo. To judge the different paper and envelope colors for yourself, you are welcome to order a sample box or visit my studio in Winterthur.
I can mix almost all printing Inks myself. Please state which color (or blind embossing, without color) you prefer when ordering and I will make you a suitable suggestion.
All Wedding Cards are designed in size A5 (148 x 210 mm), the matching Envelopes are C5 size.
The Insert Cards and Save-the-Date Cards are all in size A6 (105 x 148 mm) with matching Envelopes in size C6.
The Menu Cards are in DL size (99 x 210 mm).
The Place Cards are available in three sizes:
— Place Card: 108 x 58 mm
— Rolled Place Card: 45 x 210 mm
— Folded place Card: 105 x 74 mm (A7)
Letterpress is an old printing process in which the design is printed deep into the paper, creating a beautiful embossed effect.
I print your documents by hand. I design your stationery on the computer, whereafter I print them as negatives. The negative is converted into a cliché in my cliché machine, which I attach to my hundred-year-old Letterpress machine. The color is distributed over the cliché using large rollers. The motif is then pressed into the paper, creating a beautiful relief.
This pure Silk Ribbon is hand dyed, frayed and pressed in England. The Silk Ribbon is of extremely high quality and is therefore the perfect finishing touch for your Wedding Card. The Silk Ribbon is 2.5 cm wide and is supplied on wooden spools. I can also offer a 5 cm wide Silk Ribbon on request.
A piece of Silk Ribbon on a Place Card is 15 centimeters long. About 60 centimeters of Silk Ribbon is enough to tie a bow around a Wedding Card, and about 50 cm is needed for a knot. I calculate 50 cm for a bow around a Menu Card and 40 cm for a knot.
Please note: Since this product is handmade, there may be slight color variations compared to the silk ribbon in the photos.
Attaching a gold Eyelet with Silk Ribbon will make your Menu or Place Card even more special. It will give your card a high-end look that no one will forget. You can also choose to fuse a Menu Card and Place Card with an Eyelet. These can then be used when setting the tables so that guests know exactly where they are sitting and what is on the Menu. The installation of the gold colored Eyelet is included in the price.

The illustration can be printed with ink or as a blind embossing (without color).
